Relevant
We won't quit until we find the right sound! We may try 20 different sound effects until we find the right one. You may ask, how do you know? Oh, we know... [CUE HEAVENLY CHOIR SOUND EFFECT]

Creative
Think outside the box! We give ourselves creative license to try sound effects that no one else would think about, like layering a lion roar under a loud engine rev.

Subtle
In some cases, less is more. Good sound design complements the picture and elevates the overall production. If a sound attracts attention to itself, it's not the right sound.

Work It
A sound effect is rarely used as is. Once the right sound is picked, we work it until it fits perfectly. If we're not satisfied with a sound, we replace it with another one.

Mix It
Every sound we add to the mix is carefully tweaked using the basic mixing cycle: levels, EQ, compression. The process can take a long time but the result is very rewarding.
